Not exactly true. If you have Wine installed on the system, it can also run Windows Games on it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support Proton, but they are working on umu integration. But yes, it needs to be marked correctly as Windows or Linux app…
I’ve been out of the loop. I didn’t know Itch.io had an app, and by the look of the github page they have linux releases going back to late 2015.

Oh, that’s not so practical then. And no way to get it to download the full installers like GOG Galaxy can do?
Maybe they’ve changed it by now. Heroic is also working on itch integration, so I’m holding out for that.
