I’ve had this question for a while, but I don’t really understand this stuff. I’m afraid of messing something up and ending up with a phone that won’t turn on anymore.
The most likely answer is no, and whether you even can install lineage depends a lot on the phone you have
The only way I’ve ever heard of and used (as outlined on the LineageOS knowledge base) involves connecting a computer via ADB. You will also need this when upgrading between major versions.
Probably not, but maybe this would work with two phones.
I don’t think that’s possible, but if that can reassure you, if you follow guides carefully, you shouldn’t brick your device
If you do a small mistake, I think that a soft brick is the most common problem, and you can fix it
I already did some mistakes, and I never hard bricked my device, just follow the guides carefully!
Hope this can help!
Almost nowhere can anyone teach how to do this for my cell phone anymore. I’ve seen YouTube videos where people taught how to make ROMs without a PC, but I never find anything for my phone.
part of the process is formatting your SD card and putting lineageos on it. I don’t think that’s possible with just your phone. maybe if you had two SD slots.
Formatting the SD card to flash a custom ROM to a phone that doesn’t boot from SD card?? What are you talking about?
Where was anyone talking about a phone without an SD card
I think they’re saying that the phone doesn’t boot from the SD card. It boots from internal storage.
I think they were saying they don’t have a PC.
