I don’t think they use a ai program for that, they probably just have a dataset with the pictures. Might even be a dataset for training ai.
The picture in question was from the AIDS Quilt when it was displayed in Washington D.C. in the 90s. So not even a very old picture
I put ai in ’ ’ as I assume it’s generated automatically somehow. AI is just a somewhat a modern/newer version of computer generated/automated in general (colloquially speaking).
The date part is probably the most tricky one to add when making these, unless it’s an accurate record, it could be an estimate anyway.
