My mom’s work friend is gay and Iranian and apparently he wants to go back to Iran cause he hates the states, I need to get this guy in contact with breakthrough news or something

Are you referring to how one can exist as Iranian and communist in America, particularly in Texas, or how can one be communist anywhere in Texas?
I know that DSA, PSL (I think), and CPUSA have grown extensively there in the last few years, but it’s also a very big area, and I don’t know how much the growth translates into actual presence there.
FYI, my friend in the DSA there is apart of the labor committee, I believe.
