    I don’t disagree with the point of this post, but the image of the chainsaw in the article was completely incorrectly captioned.

    It is actually a photo of an electric powered (not electric start) 2 man chainsaw (not one man) that weights 48 kg (106 lb).

    So is the author not careful, or did a slop machine make it?

    Also I’ve never seen of an electric start chainsaw in person and there were only a couple models in the 70s that made it to consumers and had weird removable batteries.

        The little electric ones that cut through aluminum poles are probably plenty. Lithium ion power tool batteries are crazy powerful at this point so there’s no need to mess around with gas axes anymore.
