i really like the frutiger aero and skeuomorphism looks (real words) but its pretty hard to find a launcher, icon pack etc. that doesn’t collect all of my data. I know most people don’t care and that’s fine, but i do. For example; smartlauncher is probably an amazing launcher but if you look at their privacy policy for a minute you can see how much data they really collect. I know this is picky but i just want to know if its even possible

    I’m not aware of any FOSS launcher that ships that aesthetic out of the box. Unless someone has a better Idea, the best you can do is probably theming an open source launcher like lawnchair as much as it will allow.

    Or, if you’re really motivated, you could make your own, lol.

    i use adw launcher ex v1.3.4.0. it’s proprietary, but doesn’t seem to include trackers or anything nefarious. i bet the servers are long dead even if there was one at some point.

      btw, where can you download it? when i try to install it on the play store (aurora store) it says “App not purchased/ unavailable in your country”. I am using a vpn but i tried 3 different servers and nothing changed so thats strange

        i’m surprised it’s even still in google play store… i think i got/pirated it from 4PDA (russian forum). I can share the apk file if you want
