    A lot of people reading this are thinking they are going to charge you for food that you didn’t order. That’s not it.

    Accurate predictions can be used for tons of things, like advertising. If they predict that you are in the mood for a burrito but don’t know it yet, they can push a Youtube ad about doordashing burritos, to get you to order.

    At a large scale it can be used for planning and logistics. Prediction that Bob wants a pizza? Re-route dasher A to be closer to the pizza place so that dasher A can fulfill more orders once Bob makes the order.

    Prediction that Bob hates big tech, would never buy premium doordash, and is only ordering today because he has no other choice? Deprioritize his order, he can get his pizza cold.
