One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce said his party will cut Australia’s migrant population “primarily by not issuing new” visas, after his party announced a plan to dramatically slash migration and bring it into “net-negative” for three years on Monday.
Kinda funny that the two main groups the typical One Nation voter is scared of being “swamped” by - Indians and Chinese - are not included in the proposed visa ban.
Because cutting visas with a national employment rate of 4.5% is economic suicide. Australia will obviously still require a healthy stream if migrant workers if it wants any hope of growth and economic stability. There’s 2.8b people to tap into from those countries.
He looks like he’s one more greasy sandwich away from perishing, maybe just yell at him a bunch and he’ll go away?
This will certainly upset corporate donors of the major parties!
