The oldest tech I have are laptops from 2006, 2008 and 2009, a pc from ~2010 and an android phone from around 2012. I also have lots of newer stuff.

I’ve already built a home server from the most suitable pc. What other real use cases for old tech would you suggest? What is your experience?

    I played this game where the people in this apartment building would cobble together video call systems they would use as peep-holes and doorbells with two-way communication. Looked like they were built with old phones, TVs, and other devices they could get their hands on.

    I’ve always wanted to build one. I’ll see if I can find the game again.
