A day late but it was released September 14th, 2001. What are your memories of it?
For some reason, I never really kept a GameCube and I’ve had three of them in my life. I kept getting rid of it because I was preferably a Playstation 2 gamer at the time. But I knew that it had quite a library of games of its own and some smashing hits.
As a kid I got GameCube as a reward for learning the multiplication tables from 1 to 10. The first game I got for it was Super Smash Bros Melee and I played the shit out of it with my friends. On my birthday we had a big tournament, and four controllers of course. Metroid Prime, 007: Everything or Nothing, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time… that console is my all-time favorite.
