A day late but it was released September 14th, 2001. What are your memories of it?
For some reason, I never really kept a GameCube and I’ve had three of them in my life. I kept getting rid of it because I was preferably a Playstation 2 gamer at the time. But I knew that it had quite a library of games of its own and some smashing hits.
In 2003, i was working on a cruise ship in the Caribbean and bought a GameCube at the KMart in St. Thomas so i could play Zelda WindWaker.
As someone working on a ship, the game fit my life perfectly, and it’s a core gaming memory i’ve always cherished.
I still have that GameCube and, these days, my 7 year old nephew never wants to play on my Switch 2…he just wants to play Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube.
