    $120K spent advertising a kid’s Minecraft channel is suspicious. The initial flag should just have been for “card not normally used suddenly spending a shit-ton of money—does this look legit?” After that, a ten-second check of what was being advertised would have shown that something was fishy.

      A $120K marketing budget for a single beat of a campaign would match a company with credit cards with limits that large. Usually you don’t use a credit card for marketing spending though and your Google bill is paid by a bank account. It should have been flagged but they could be using their company cc’s recklessly making this a normal transaction.

      Eh, not necessarily. Those kidslop channels can pull in serious income, a company starting one up makes sense.
