What makes this situation so ridiculous is that while we’re all watching for scammers attempting to imitate legitimate organisations, FedEx is out there imitating scammers!

    Strewth. I think the problem is int he case of FedEx, random home delivery people are not the source of their profit, so customer service is a “waste of money”. Similarly, with Google, we’re also not the profit for them, so similarly no reason to waste the money.

    The irony is how difficult like Doordash/Uber etc are, even when we ARE the source of money. heh
