I get so irate when people sing jingles at me. It was fucking everyone I knew growing up-- classmates, family, everyone but maybe one friend. And only because we didn’t sing or do anything whimsical. Why do people enjoy advertising at me? At least they could try to get paid for shoveling [product] at me, but it doesn’t even register. I’d long ago given up trying to express that I would like to avoid being advertised at. Its just something fun to do to eachother! We sing the corporate jingle and we all have a laugh! Wow! What an interesting way of thinking! Lets go buy [product]!
