    Place was OK to visit as a kid, issue is and has always been it’s too far away from anything else.

    Like sure let’s go & have lunch I can have maybe two schooners, but the drive there and back on any day of the week is going to consume someone’s whole break (~15 mins each way)

    Weekend is the same thing, without a courtesy bus any group without a dessie or two just aren’t going to go. Prices from memory aren’t anything special, there’s little novelty left it’s just a bit sad to see.

      Yeah, someone mentioned to me how it used to be next to the highway but then said highway was rebuilt to bypass Albury or something.

      It’s still not that far away in my opinion but it’s not exactly walking distance from anywhere. The place was pretty empty when we went there, there were a few people in the cafe but it kinda stank of grease so we didn’t go.

      It’s really a shame to see such a delightful and iconic place go downhill, the people I went with thought so as well.
