It’s been reported that in the German elections, a far right party has made ‘significant gains’.
In the UK (at least before the scandals) Reform UK seems to have had a significant boost and has even surpassed the right-wing Conservative Party in some polls/predictions.
Even France, one or two years ago, was threatened with a far-right government due to the French far right party gaining a lot of support.
It feels like in the last few years, the far-right has exceeded itself and had a surge in popularity. Is this the case? And if so, wtf is fuelling it?
Billionaires. They fund right-wring advocates, because tearing down establishment concepts like “rule of law”, “industrial standards”, “equality”, and so forth is very useful to the wealthy.
I think it was the palantir guy I saw a video recently of some like industry convention from 10-15 years ago where he was saying “we can’t win at the polls. That’s why I like technology, because if we can control Technology, we can control everything” (or something like that, I don’t remember verbatim). So yea, the Billionaires have always loved the far-right ideals. Once they have all the money, it’s the only way they can get more power, and therefore feel more important. “Big Tech” is in a position to control so much of the information flow directly into people’s brains that they can control the unwashed masses to go to the poll and vote against their own interests.
