Sadly that’s the only thing we get referenced for in cultural stuff. Every serie that gets produced that takes place over here has drugs as a theme. On top of that they also portray us as stupid hillbillies. We have our own distinct dialect which they can’t be bothered to either learn or hire, you know, locals. So you get butchered accents with overly caricaturized versions of us. And the serie will always contain carnaval. Because all we do here is make molly, be stupid and drink beer at carnaval.
