    I get why that’s so annoying. But I’m not sure why it would drive new signups here. Isn’t that more of an issue for people who don’t want to create an account?

    Feels like we need a really strong Fediverse/Threadiverse search engine to fill the gap left by Reddit ending open access.

      For me, it was more about supporting the “small guy” who isn’t trying to profit off my data.
