The defence deal signed at the UN General Assembly also re-affirms Denmark’s sovereignty over its semi-autonomous Arctic territory.
Anyone else reading this like it’s Sid Meier’s Civilization and this is just stacking military units in an “ally’s” territory before the inevitable betrayal?

Looking at where the bases are, its them trying to make a claim on the Northwest passage, potentially on the Canadian arctic as a whole.
