And yes RAM is currently the issue, but I imagine they don’t want to make massive changes to their production plans just to accommodate the AI bubble that may or may not pop soon.
At the moment, RAM is projected to be a PITA through at least 2028. If you’re able to produce a chopped down SKU to alleviate that it’s likely worth it, especially if they have issues with filling orders in a reasonable time frame
