    Joining a teams call from the car sounds miserable. Doubly so if there’s traffic.

    Mercedes‑Benz gleefully describes this as having “the potential to transform the vehicle into a third workspace, complementing the office and the home office.”

    Hands-free calling is considered safe in most countries so I don’t really see this as a problem.

    The bigger problem is the capitalist hellscape where you’re supposed to be on the road but also in meetings at the same time.

      Crazy how corporate production facilities want you to prevent the operators from talking while they’re working because talking and being distracted causes mistakes but distracted driving is totally chill.

    No. My car is where I get in the headspace for work, or decompress once the workday is over. Listening to my music is a big part of that. If my boss wants to buy me a Mercedes, then maybe we can discuss expectations. Until then, anyone cheerleading this idea can fuck all the way off.
