**assuming streaming. Satisfactory, my current obsession, runs okay in the Frame but it’s definitely pushing it.

I’ve never had any kind of VR so this is all new to me, but having my game window in a comfortable place with other windows or desktops floating around me is the peak futuristic experience to me.

To reference one of my favorite books, Snow Crash, this is a place I could imagine meeting the Librarian and playing with a model of earth.

I could genuinely imagine working in this thing with the right peripherals.

    Gonna need my keyboard for satisfactory

    I understand the appeal, but the discomfort of prolonged headset wearing and the lower detail adds up, idk. But my experience is limited to the index, which is much heavier than the frame

    Two monitors is hard to beat. One for satisfactory modeler and one for satisfactory

    Edit: there are mods out there to make satisfactory an actual vr game btw

            I’m happy for you, but I’ve found I can’t play building games with a controller. Minecraft and satisfactory are the only two I’ve tried, and it’s horribly inefficient and frustrating, in my experience. Gotta have my kb and mouse.

            I do enjoy controllers though. Old school FPS? Sign me up.

            Heck I even did HZD on a controller, though I imagine I might’ve done better with a mouse and keyboard, I had more time available with my deck, so that’s what I used.

              I started Satisfactory on mouse and keyboard but I have been exclusively controller since starting back up a few months ago. I just don’t think my gameplay is refined enough for me to notice inefficiency.

              Mods like infinite zoop mode make it feel pretty easy to me, but I’m just not a very good builder on my best day.

                (just curious as I’ve never played with a controller) how does that mod help? Isn’t zoop mode nearly infinite already?

                  It’s a misleading name in a way. Zoop can go to the horizon on one axis at a time. Infinite zoop allows you to make big areas by zooping both X and Y axes at the same time.
