**assuming streaming. Satisfactory, my current obsession, runs okay in the Frame but it’s definitely pushing it.
I’ve never had any kind of VR so this is all new to me, but having my game window in a comfortable place with other windows or desktops floating around me is the peak futuristic experience to me.
To reference one of my favorite books, Snow Crash, this is a place I could imagine meeting the Librarian and playing with a model of earth.
I could genuinely imagine working in this thing with the right peripherals.

Quick PSA to anyone reading, “XR” glasses like the Viture or XREAL offerings paired with an awesome project called breezy-desktop (https://github.com/wheaney/breezy-desktop) also provide an excellent experience, and the glasses can be found for around $300-400. I played a decent amount of STALKER 2 with them and it was great.
+1 for Viture if you’re a little near-sighted, as they have individual knobs for each eye to dial in the crispness. Xreal required inserts to be modified by an optometrist (and still didn’t feel quite right in my case >.< )
I have the original Viture pros and can confirm. I’m decently near sighted at like -3.25 and can reasonably use them without my contacts or personalized lenses.

Honestly I think it would be hard to use. Even with my relatively slight prescription I had to squint a little to actually see some of the text on the KDE desktop
How are these different from pervert glasses?
Edit: Genuine question, this looks great, but I don’t like the idea of people walking around with cameras on their faces.
No cameras, these are basically just a monitor.

As BigPotato mentioned, they’re basically two small 1080p120 monitors built into some bulky eye glass/sun glass frames.
There’s no cameras onboard and you can’t actually see through them, though the pros I have let you dim the sun glass effect to see your desk/keyboard.
I also like how they’ve built speakers into the arms of the frames, almost reminds me of the bone conducting headphones.
