This is how I’m rolling into this Steam sale. Let’s find the good stuff.
Where are those settings?
https://store.steampowered.com/recommender
It’s under “Reccomendations” > “interactive recommender” in the main store menus.
Besides changing the popularity and age weights as shown above, you can click on a game on the sidebar to exclude its playtime from influencing these recommendations.
Currently my shopping cart has the following for about 40 bucks:
- Knights in Tight Spaces
- Wild Bastards
- Othercide
- Chorus
- Children of the Sun
- FAR: Changing Tides
- Paper Trail
- The Talos Principle 2
- The Outlast Trials
- Card Shark
Those are some good picks. I’m gonna copy them.
🫶 Each of those is individually 5 bucks or lower if you wanna mix and match
Oh shit, why did this coincide with pay day. Oops!
This is fun. I add games to my wishlist if I I hear good things about them, then I forget why I put them there.
Today’s contestant is Detroit: Becoming Human, 90% off for 4 bucks.
I highly rate Detroit BH. And Beyond Two Souls. Heavy Rain…has aged but still okay
Their entire collection is also 92% off for 6 bucks!

Damn it. You just cost me $6
I will resist looking.
Tainted grail at 50% off is tempting me, but I need to be good…
