      Tbf it’s still really frustrating that people can’t help but target women in this way no matter how many warnings or punishment or altering of behavior there may be.

        I mean, from the same article I have to keep reading on your behalf:

        This year, police arrested a 45-year-old Swiss man for using his phone to film under a German woman’s dirndl. Last year there were 10 arrests for upskirting and seven in 2024.

        I don’t think I can compile enough statistics on the niche crimonology of “people who take upskirt shots at Oktoberfest” to satisfy “do they follow through on that?” – nebulous enough that the goalposts could be anywhere, especially for someone who can’t be bothered with the bare minimum effort to inform themselves on the topic – but it’s enough that I hope you’ll consider researching the topic further if you want to justify being this obnoxious.

        In this case, I just read the article, came to the comments, read the things you said, and remembered parts of the article that contradict it.
