I had a friend in Uni who studied food science. She went on to work in marketing a a sculptor for advertisements. They sculptures were hand crafted to look delicious but would have been completely inedible, if anyone was stupid enough to eat them.

It is an art form and unfortunately a lot of people fail to appreciate art.
