The cx-6e could’ve been great, it’s spacious and looks really good for a crossover. But everything is done through the screen, and I mean EVERYTHING not a single button in sight. the handling is subpar compared to European alternatives, the dampening on “sharp” bumps, like expansion joints, travels through the suspension and into the car while been almost floaty on long sweeping bumps. That’s the result of dampers that can’t handle the car and something most Chinese cars I’ve driven suffers from.
my understanding was that they completely redid the handling?
i do agree about the buttons/knobs, one of the reasons im going ioniq 3 is for the buttons, i flick the volume up and down far too often to fuck about with a screen
It does handle better than most other Chinese cars of the same prize, but they haven’t tuned out the crashing over rough spots sadly. And it gets even worse on cobblestone roads, you’d almost needs a kidney belt.
