    Put a bunch of toilet paper on top, and then use a toilet brush to shove the blockage down. The toilet paper should hopefully keep the brush (or any other object) clean. Once you get it past the ubend it should free up and flow normally.

    You can also use a rubbergloved fist, or some other longish object.

      I dunno what kind of witchcraft this is, but 5 mins after typing that response my partner dropped something in the toilet that I had to retrieve by hand…

      Wash your hands afterwards.

      Actually the real trick plumbers don’t want you to know is that fast setting concrete will dissolve clogs. You just need to work quickly.
