The only way that socialists in the US can properly agitate while participating in elections is through a principled working class party, using the democratic party as a vessel means your “socialist” (in truth socdem lol) politicians will be either sucked into the vortex of bourgeois politics and become impotent (and this is assuming that are truly well meaning), or become opportunists who used the socialist framing to acquire power and then sell out. But not my mayor he is a good guy!
