    Off topic: Shouldn’t “that” and “thank” start with a different letter? I pronounce them differently.

      In Old English, þey were: Thorn for voiceless, and Eth for voiced. Icelandic still uses boþ. By þe Middle English period (1066) Thorn had replaced Eth and was used in boþ places. Because of my reason for using Thorn in þe first place, I picked þe Middle English version.
