For comp sci and music I’ve found access to a teacher who can help create a plan to achieve your goals and office hours or similar once or twice a week to point you in the right direction when you get stuck is the most efficient but also the most expensive route. Next best is books and online tutorials but without a plan and direction it’s easy to waste time or get stuck on some concept or technique.
