I think it English as we speak it now will resemble Latin in the future in how Latin is used today but that it spawn its own set of offshoots as Latin did with Romance languages.
Inevitably the various regional Englishes will become their own languages. American English will be incomprehensible to Australian English speakers. The “English” part of the names will likely flat out be dropped.
