I know it is existing and outdated Green’s policy that Shoebridge is defending but they need to take it back to the party and bring themselves into line with the european greens. The world has changed and the Greens need to catch up. A real leader like Bob Hawke didn’t just accept apartheid in South Africa. He used his position in the union movement to fight it. That is what great leaders do. They take a moral stance, not make excuses.
