Ah but you see, the bottom one is on the moon. There’s no gravity on the moon so the broadcasts fly in the air much more easily.

Then the broadcasts have to go through space, with again no gravity, then simply fall onto the clouds when they hit earth, and once they’re in the cloud they can stream 4k to the rest of the internet.

This is why they put satellites in space, much cheaper and easier internet than something on the ground.

Fuck you’re stupid. They calibrated the rover to transmit at the resonant frequency of cheese, and being made of cheese, the entire moon essentially acted as a reflector. Learn some space history.

      Take a look around

Cunningham’s Law states that “the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it’s to post the wrong answer”.

On the Earth, the signal fades due to the atmosphere. On the lunar rover, the antenna is small because there is no atmosphere, and on the Earth, the receiver is a giant round structure that measures meters or tens.

And the antenna design is also very important. For example, a TV antenna transmits in all directions, while a lunar rover transmits strictly upwards

      Do you know…what a parabolic antenna…IS?

Yes, that’s what I meant “the receiver is a giant round structure that measures meters or tens”

In your quote I was talking about a TV antenna and a directional one.

The lunar roving vehicle wasn’t doing the broadcasting … it wasn’t even there until the last 3 missions.

Actually it was used multiple times for the Ascent shot except for they only got it right the third or fifth time because you have to time the camera pan with the landers thruster ratios. They would wire up a camera to the Rover which would then be relayed up to the orbiter.

It’s also transmitting from a nearly radio-silent object in a direct point to point path, single channel non HD, without the equivalent of an entire television studio inside it…

A particel is what you get when hydrogen gets told their whole life they’ll find someone because it “just happens” and never bothers asking another hydrogen out as a result

Why is this downvoted so much? It’s posted in “lemmyshitpost”. The dumbest Facebook-science conspiracy junk belongs here so we can all launch at it. If this was posted in “technology” or “science” I would understand the downvotes. But here it’s just satire to laugh at. Just downvote anyone who actually believes this shit.

Be happy it’s not AI slop.

Got an upvote from me. But don’t you dare believe this insanely dumb shit.
