USA just switched off starlink in Ukraine. They blocked Microsoft accounts and visa cards from ICC members. You can’t rely on USA tech. It’s got a killswitch and a madman ready to push the button.
You are not wrong but they are the lesser evil. I mean either try to change the system or burn it down. Doesn’t seem lime America is anywhere near a revolution so the only thing to do is vote the furthest left you can.
I agree that democrats (as they exist now) are a bad party. However, the US system is broken in a way that disadvantages third parties. If you vote for a 3rd party that is left of the Democrats (or don’t vote at all), you split the vote and Trump wins again. I think the US is in a bind, but the best way out is to vote Dem and turf corporate/zionist Dems like Schumer in the primaries. It will take time, but it will work.
Some people on Lemmy have been using “both parties bad” rhetoric to discourage people from voting for the Democrats, which only benefits Trump and his gang. Your post probably got associated with that rhetorical strategy.
Diversification helps here. Being able to switch service providers easy and quickly is best for users.
At the moment it’s good for Europeans to focus on domestic services, but in the long run our laws and governments may also turn more oppressive, so having many different reliable alternatives is the recipe for a free and empowered society.
Iris2 can’t go online early enough. There is Govsatcom now at least, as a crutch, to bridge the time until the basic Iris2 service can begin in 2030.
Just imagine Europe would have listened to the strong SpaceX fan crowd that called Ariane 6 a waste of money, because it costs some millions more per launch.
And can you remember the storm against Galileo when the crowd called it an epic waste of money (the domestic Putin front does to this day for mysterious reasons), when already have the US military run GPS?

And you americans, go out there and vote Democrat, you can do politics in third parties later if you have a country left after the election.
Day 1 Early Voting, voted full Democrat all the way down, doing what I can in one of the reddest states 😅
Thank you!
Frim: The rest of the world (+USA I guess/hope)
*Vote as far left as possible in the Democrat primaries too or it’s all for nothing.
4 months too late my man
Should have put Geet Wilders in that image as well.
Democrats there are of the same capital class though.
The Russian bots in here trying to fix the election are annoying

It’s true, but try this:
Wonder why 10 upvotes for you and negative 20 for me when we mean the same thing 😰
They spoke in Priorities. You didn’t. Hardly a mystery.

You have to start shifting the Overton Window from somewhere.
