Cosplaying to be anti “American Tech”, then kissing the empire hand for blessing.

This is called “neoliberal euro syndrome”.

I surprisingly agree, just keep in mind that sometimes those nice people, even if they don’t approve of Stalin, would honestly say that you as you exist are of a wrong class background and behavior and should be reeducated or put down, if you’d ask them in a right way. No fault of yours but still needed if a revolution, ya knaw, takes place.

And since some of my ancestors have been subjected to institutions doing that, more of “put down” than of “reeducated”, while not even being contrarian to said ideology, I’d say I’ve had enough of their niceties before meeting them.

If they are ancom/ansyn and recognize intersections between that and ancap, then welcome.

And don’t give me that bullshit about Stalin and Lenin not being far left, because, well, all the left in the world were their followers until roughly late 70s, when that started coming out of fashion, left propagandists living in mansions in western countries while receiving orders from USSR started causing suspicion as members of intelligentsia, so to say, and Khmer Rouge casted a bit of a shadow, and that Big Leap in China couldn’t be well explained from utopian point of view, and USSR’s economy and culture started visibly stagnating compared to the picture of the 60s (which surprisingly coincided with a moment of rebirth when many people still believed in communist ideas, or believed that those could be cleaned of Stalin and repressions), while those leftists generally didn’t care how Soviet people really lived before 60s, which is funny, because for USSR itself 70s were its pinnacle of development, when some of the utopian promises really materialized en masse for a huge portion of the population and not just in propaganda for westerners. Unfortunately they didn’t know where to go further from that, and while the average citizen realized they’ve become almost like a normal person, the average nomenclature family member realized they want more than what they had, and institutional strength is clearly incompatible with that.
