After a bitter rift with Donald Trump left many in Ukraine fearing that the US president had swung behind Russia again, President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the dispute head on: there’s nothing personal between me and Trump, he told CNN, but cozying up to Vladimir Putin would only “make him stronger.”

Ties between the US and Ukraine have badly deteriorated in recent weeks.

Zelensky said Trump was “on the wrong side of history” after he announced a deal to buy Russian fuel, upending international efforts to isolate Russia. Trump then waived some sanctions against Russia, drawing criticism even from his own party. Ukraine’s forces found their access to the Elon Musk-run Starlink service restricted.

Speaking to CNN from Kyiv on Thursday, Zelensky took a conciliatory tone, saying the tensions were “not about personalities” – but warned that Putin had no intention of stopping the war.

Oh yeah, Ukraine is known for its corruption. I actually studied this and it was really interesting. Basically during the time of the USSR professionals didn’t really make very much so it became common to tip/bribe me. This bribing culture still exists to this day in Ukraine, but it really is cultural as opposed to just pure corruption.

Also, America fosters fascism in every country in the world so there is not a safe spot and Russia and China have both been heavily influenced by US fascism. The picture is so much more complex than you believe. You picked a side, which to my assessment, is pretty fucking silly. The only side you should be on is that of humanity. Fuck the new unspoken alliance between Russia, US, and China. You really need to catch the fuck up.

America is directly arming over 80% of the world’s dictatorships, making us the least democratic nation on Earth.

You’re the one bullshitting yourself to think any of this is about democracy.

What part of fuck the US are you not getting. Go talk with some pro capitalist on Reddit. You are so far out of your league it isn’t funny. China just moved to the fourth largest weapons producer and is providing material support to Russia to prolong the Ukraine conflict. Fucking North Korea sent them missiles. You are fucking blind to what is going on.

Do you think I believe in the lie of democracy!? Good lord your assumptions definitely make an ass out of you.

              Bruh.

I do believe in democracy. My government doesn’t, and that didn’t start with Trump.

I’ve seen the results of a unipolar world order my entire life. I’m older than “Ukraine”.

Even most Americans see America as the problem.

America and Europe are out of control and need to be stopped. A unipolar world order is humanity’s only hope.

So yeah, help Russia. Good. More. Please. 👍

Yup, US, Russia, France, China, Germany are the big producers. Like I said, you are way out of your league. The US is the worst, yes. If the US didn’t exist all the others would quickly fill that vacuum. You are extremely naive when it comes to this.

You believe in the lie of democracy that the wealthy created!? I suppose in some alternative universe without capitalism, with a highly educated citizenship, and with a ton of tightly enforced gaurdrails the concept of democracy could have a chance.

Russia is attacking its own brothers and sisters but the US needs to stop? Yes the US needs to stop bombing brown people, but let’s not pretend you care about them other than a propaganda point.

I am done pretending this is even about nations anymore. This entire discussion maybe would make sense several decades ago, but we know better now. The ultra wealthy exist without countries and they are pulling the levers and lifting the strings to create oppression for profit. This is the real enemy of humanity.

No country on Earth deserves the human race. Perhaps in the future some government/country/state will be deserving. Until then I am on the side of humanity and campists can get bent.

You seem to be coming from a good place, but with bad information.

Yes, brothers and sisters. That’s why more former Ukrainians have left for Russia than any other nation, all despite Kiev trying to prevent that at the cost of many lives.

Western corporate news claims Russia is “kidnapping” orphans when they reunite them with their closest kin in Russia. They’re implying that the state owns the children, not their family.

And look at the deaths, mostly inflicted by Kiev’s fascists militias, like Azov and Adyr Battalions. They’re against “waiters”, their name for people refusing to relocate West, waiting for liberation.

The war to defend democratic secession after a US bankrolled coup has seen the lowest civilian death rate than any major conflict in modern history. Look at Gaza, the numbers are reversed.

This is what a war of liberation looks like, not a war of annihilation.

Not all conflicts are waged by genocidal monsters. That’s just what you’re used to.

Wow, that is not how any of that happened, it is clear my original statement that you were using low effort Russian propaganda is borne out. I am afraid you are in too deep and you need some serious deprogramming. Carrying water for China is one thing that I don’t agree with, but carry water for Russia!? They are liberating Ukraine… You have got to be fucking kidding me.

Russia has an extensive history with genocide and they are literally allied with the US. You really need to get some new propaganda.
