In a vacuum, it was middling in all aspects and with some terrible technical and artistic issues, but it was okay. But it didn’t exist in a vacuum. It didn’t live up to the relative success of Inquisition, and was an unworthy successor of the Shepard trilogy.
However, the animations were terrible even after they “fixed” it.
The writing was terrible, with a generic plot, dialogue that consisted of quippy one-liners and little else, and characters that were shallow and one-dimensional.
And the game was buggy and unstable with multiple CTDs even years after release.
For me, Andromeda couldn’t hold my attention. Multiplayer was more fun, but that’s only because I cheated a bunch and posted my “accomplishments” in the ME Coop subreddit until they gave me a permaban.

Gameplay wise? No, it was loads of fun to play.

Personally, I just never played it. Plenty of folks liked it eventually.
