Two high-speed trains carrying hundreds of passengers collided south of Madrid. Spain's transport minister said one of the trains was told to continue its journey despite a "red signal" being in effect.

    Agreed except:

    No human operator should be able to choose to override command

    A specialist should always be able to supersede the machine. Maybe “no single human” or some such, but I always want man commanding machine.
