To anybody who needs to use reddit (for answer to some weird question someone posted few years ago) and they are blocked by “sign in to continue”. Ublock origin works pretty well. I have fennec (fireflox clone) with ublock. Someone told me use the zapper of ublock when that pops up, it has worked for me well.
I was testing just now to see if it works and I haven’t got that pop-up. It is possible ublock has already leveled up or I just didn’t use reddit for long enough. It was without logging in.

i use sink it extension to block the nagging. and has other features too.
if you want to use the old redd layout, its called classic reddit layout, it looks like old reddit, but it has some kinks on mobile more than desktop.
Yep, I zap away and it works fine.
Instead of the zapper, use the dropper and make it a permanent rule in your ublock
