Didn’t Elvis once famously kill a roach with a revolver? I remember hearing that story, but all I can find with cursory DDG searches is some altercation between him and Alice Cooper.
I might be confusing it with the story about him shooting his TV, but I’m not sure how a roach would get involved in that memory. Maybe I’m recalling a Simpsons bit. It’s too early for me to remember clearly.
edit: The problem is, it was always described to me as a “digital typewriter.” I don’t deny the accuracy of the description but searching for that doesn’t return the device in question and adding “blue” doesn’t make much difference.
edit2: This was in response to a different post. I apologize.

Elvis fired his .38 into the dashboard of his small sports car in 1971 when it wouldn’t start. No way he didn’t do permanent hearing damage.
Usually when you think that’s a solution, I don’t think the hearing is the problem.
He was a professional musician, you would think his hearing would be his concern. But by 1971 he was on a steady diet of moonpies and drugs.
I know, he was know for taking things over the top and well other things that are “allegations” of participants of a certain resort.
Well now that it’s later, do you remember now?
No, but I am prepared for a nap.

I had read your other comment as well and didn’t even catch that you replied to the wrong one.
Well, it’s nice to know that someone pays attention to my ramblings and I guess it’s also nice to know that you only kind of do.
