Federal immigration agents arrested an immigrant as he was leaving court on the first day of his trial in Massachusetts on Thursday, with a judge now holding one agent in contempt for disrupting due process.

Plainclothes U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents showed up at the court in Boston and took Wilson Martell-Lebron without prior notice, according to The Boston Globe.

I’ll tell you exactly what can be done.

Sullivan described a tense scene in which ICE agents pounced on Martell-Lebron without identifying themselves, put him into a pickup and sped away.

    SHOOT. THEM.

I’m not being a keyboard tough guy here. My wife is a legal immigrant, and damningly brown. This is a thing I’ve thought about quite a bit.

Unidentified men try to snatch her or get in my house? They are getting killed, best I can. And yes, I’ll likely die as well. I’m at peace with that, as much as I can be. Terror has a way of flipping the table on even the best laid plans.

I almost always have a pistol, rifle or shotgun within reach, and only those guns that are rock solid and with which I practice, and I practice one to three times a week. I’m also prepared for night fighting, quick. Rarely carry except in the woods or somewhere strange I’m unsure about, but that’s going to change. (And I fucking hate it.)

And it’s not just ICE. Been saying for years that once MAGA truly gets the idea that the law does not apply to them, they’ll be forming posses. Perhaps we will call them Red Shirts.

FFS, it’s like no one really studied WWII in Europe. This is happening now. Trump dying will probably take the air out of the whole thing, I hope. But if he remains in power long enough, his people will have strengthened their situation. You know they’re planning for what to do if he keels over with a blown heart.

(Sorry for the rant. Just got home from work and “relaxing”.)

I wonder if that’s at least part of what is being gunned for. Since if they’re attacked while deporting someone, it can then be spun into more anti-immigrant sentiment, pushing for more stringent deportations, because they’re violent, and even attacked the authorities.

Unironically. If I were in a situation like this, I don’t care about laws. I’d be defending my family with lethal force if needs be. It’s not terrorism. It’s loyalty to and protecting my family over my loyalty to the Crown. Easy choice. Defending your family is also “mega based and tradpilled”.

Depending on where you are, laws will even protect you.

In Indiana, our castle laws are pretty wide reaching. You are allowed to defend your property, person, and even other people (including strangers) with appropriate force (up to lethal force) from anyone. Including the police. Now of course, that won’t stop them from shooting back, but it’s within your legal right.

Now, I am not a lawyer. But I did go through my state’s CCW course and I do quite a bit with my local Pink Pistol group so I have a decent grasp on the relevant laws. But do not use this comment as a legal defense haha

Castle and stand your ground laws also apply to you shooting police who do not properly identify themselves. Even more applicable in this scenario.

Yes, but how are you going to prove they didn’t ID themselves properly during your trial, when you don’t even get one? Checkmate ACLU lib-gards!!

Also defending your own human rights in general. There is a human right to family autonomy. States are obligated to let you have your spouse there if they aren’t an actual risk.
