Depends, it’s been around this price in certain regions of my state since at least 2020ish. For example I know near my college it used to be like $1-3 more per item than my home town (something I noticed back when I got food driving home once and got the golden arches at both ends). Now, I’m not quite where I grew up but from the few times I’ve been there prices have rose dramatically.
Where I am now, a meal, without coupons and app deals, is like 15-20 dollars 13-18 if it’s medium.
I went to IHOP the other day with a friend. I realized that I paid less for my friend and I to have lunch at a sit-down restaurant with an actual waitress (before tip), than I do for meals for my wife and myself through a drive-thru.
Here, it’s like the same cost as Applebee’s unless you’re buying off the app.
I obviously know less than anyone about this, but didn’t it used to be shit cheap a few years ago?

It’s expensive as fuck these days. A meal is like 12-15 bucks depending on where you are.
