Basically the reason I dont use algorithm based sites, I dont know why but it annoys me.
It’s the main reason I stopped using Instagram years ago when they stopped using chronological order. It basically killed engagement with people I knew and killed the reason I used it
Facebook has been notorious for making changes that the users didn’t ask for. Once upon a time, posts from friends used to dominate our feeds. Then, one day, it changed to prioritize group posts. I remember ranting about it, pointing out that the only reason I used Facebook was to keep in touch with friends, so I want to see posts from friends. Otherwise, what’s the point?
Anyway, long story short, I haven’t used Facebook in years.
