I’m curious, if someone supports the death penalty in general, not in the context of a socialist state, is that “psychotic harm” that’s equivalent to Nazi atrocities? Like, I would disagree with that position, but equating it to Nazism is pretty ridiculous. As far as I’m aware, every country has had the death penalty at some point in it’s history, so they all have Nazi pasts?

This is really quite silly. It’s basically like saying that anyone who supports the existence of states is a Nazi because the Nazis had a state. Not far off from “Hitler ate sugar so anyone who eats sugar is like Hitler.”
