Sony is encouraging PlayStation owners to trade in their PS5 consoles for up to $400, with notifications being sent to players offering cash in exchange for their old hardware.
If I had an unused PS5, I wouldn’t sell it for 400 Dollars. That’s basically a scam. Also in the future the unused console has a higher chance to be hackable. On Amazon Germany the Playstation 5 costs 650 Euros and higher into the thousands range. If Sony wants my imaginary PS5, then they have to pay me virtually more than 400.
