Sometimes I have a moment of slight regret after taking an edible. Once you’ve chewed and swallowed it, there’s that moment where you don’t feel high yet but it is now inevitable that you’re going to get high, it’s too late to change your mind

Every single time I have an edible, there’s this moment where I think to myself, “I’m on the ride now. No getting off until it’s over.” It kinda helps because I’m acknowledging that feeling, but also reassuring myself that this will be fun, and even if it isn’t, it will end.

Kinda the same as getting to the top of a really big waterside.

You’ve officially made your choice. It was something you wanted to do and it’s honestly going to be fun and there’s really nothing to regret. But you have made your choice.

Precisely, you know you’re in for a good time and you don’t regret it, but at the same time it’s a little scary and you can’t back out now even if you wanted to

I mean if you just go to sleep before it kicks in that’s pretty much backing out. You might have some weird dreams or a trippy walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But if you really regret it and want to just skip the fun, just go lay down in the dark and close your eyes. Maybe put some quiet chill music on if that helps you sleep.
