The claim is false. Elon Musk deleted a few recent posts supporting Republican candidates after the 2026 US midterm elections.

So he did panic delete his tweets, just not every tweet

There is also no proof that fear motivated Musk to delete the posts. He never publicly explained why he removed them. Instead, he joked about the election results on X, writing, “Guess my election-interfering space lasers didn’t work this time.” He also made comments about building data centers in space, which remained on his account.

I’m not sure what the fear rumor is trying to get at. What would he be afraid of? This post makes it sound like he shared something incriminating and then deleted it

I mean most of his net worth is tied up in absolutely bogus stock that has no real value. The stock is valued on investors confidence in him. I’m not saying he’d be poor, but it would hurt his fragile ego to not be the richest person in the world anymore

Also please do not take a shipost of a fish with arms as a news source

The only thing keeping his stock semi legit is that starlink/Tesla/SpaceX all have tangible products to sell. I don’t think they will ever crash, but they’re blown way out of proportion to what they should be because the elonazi has at least profits to show. AI shit aside of the others.

It’s a good Streisand-effect moment, though. He deleted some tweets, raising public interest in what tweets he deleted. And the memes (if not completely true) are still fun.

It makes me think of the rumor about the Russian propaganda bots going silent after some Ukrainian hits on data centers. Didn’t actually happen. Good fantasy. Made for fun memes.
