Continuing on the linked post, I wonder if another option could be to simply wait for the game to become ported/ready for emulation. I have zero experience with the world of console emulators.
Please advise 😊

I mean, they probably won’t be perfect but it looks like people can get something going pretty quickly.
Also, there seems to be more work on specific builds of different emulators than a cohesive general emulator at the moment.
Awesome! I don’t know anything about emulators at the moment, so I don’t quite understand the implications of “general emulator” versus "builds of different emulators, but I’ll start reading up on the subject as soon as I’m done with another project! 😊
It’s like any other open source project. Forks for different specific uses.
In your digging, I’d caution you to stay away from sites that offer switch 2 roms. No semi-credible site is sharing them, atm. There are a ton of people putting out malware, etc in the interim.
Right. Thanks for the headsup! I’ve never “dabbled” in executables/roms/software piracy before, so I never really worried about malware in that sense (while still keeping a fair cyber hygiene). Maybe it’s time to setup a virtual machine in case I ever want to test run “shady stuff”. Thanks again! 😁
