My work right now is evaluating AI models, but outside work I don’t use them at all. I’m so conditioned to finding flaws that my trust level is rock bottom.

I’m also very aware of how easy it is to mentally disengage. When everything appears correct at a glance, your mind has no reason to question it.

Genuinely curious how you interact with it?

I’ll occasionally amuse myself by making up scenarios with Gemini. And the Google search summary is there - but tbh I mostly find myself ignoring that or seeking confirmation it’s not just made up.

I guess I passively use it quite a bit through Google search.

I use it to Google things because modern search engines are garbage compared to how they used to be a decade and a half ago. The AI use (Perplexity) cites its sources, so I can verify what is fact and what is made up slop.
